Charles Laflamme, Owner Optician, ABOC
Chuck is continuing the Laflamme family tradition as both his Grandfather and Father were eye care practicioners here in New Hampshire. Two of Chuck's six sisters also worked in the family business for many years. Chuck along with his wife Kelly are both committed to healthy vision. Chuck is a life long resident of NH. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree (Biology) from Saint Anselm College in Manchester NH. Chuck Started his career in the optical field as an eye wear consultant. He is board certified through the American Board of Opticians and is an active member of the NH Opticians Society. He currently holds a fellow membership with the National Academy of Opticians whose sole purpose is the on going education of opticians.

Kelly Laflamme, Owner Optician Manager
Kelly was born and raised in Aroostook County Maine. She holds an Associates degree in Computer Technologies and will be graduating with a Bachelor's degree in this field in May of 2013. Kelly started her career in the optical field in 2003 as a part-time frame consultant at LensCrafters in Concord NH. Kelly's specialty is in eye wear consulting and dispensing. She is a firm believer in Lifestyle questions to ensure the best possible solution to enhance your vision. Technology is important to Kelly as you will see throughout Laflamme Optical & Eye Care. Kelly is a member of the NH Optician's Society and an associate member of the National Academy of Opticians.

Dr. Samuel C. Giveen, Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Sam's path to optometry could hardly be more classic. He was inspired by an eye doctor from his youth and followed a path that took him to the University of California at Berkeley--the world's foremost optometric research institution.

Today, when he's not treating his fellow New Englanders, Dr. Sam helps educate tomorrow's eye doctors as an adjunct clinical faculty member with the New England College of Optometry. And recently, the American Optometric Association honored the good doctor with an award recognizing his 25 years of service. You might say Dr. Sam is an optometrist's optometrist.

Dr. Sam's overarching goal is to make lives better by delivering eye care with both the technical expertise and the individual respect that everyone in the community deserves. He sees patients of all ages. His littlest patients are as young as 4 months, coming to him through the American Optometric Association's InfantSee program. He sees some of his most senior patients when visiting local nursing homes.

Outside the office, Dr. Sam's preferred, number-one activity is spending time with his family. When they're together, they indulge in such active pursuits as cycling, hiking and full-contact Scrabble. (Everyone always wears eye protection). Not surprisingly, Dr. Sam's favorite color is green, which is calming, and also good for one's vision when it comes in the form of dark green leafy vegetables.
